On January 9, 2026, a meeting was held between the Foundation for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations and leading enterprises of Chengdu's Jinjiang District
On January 9, 2026, at the initiative of the leadership of the Jinjiang District of Chengdu, a meeting was held between the Foundation for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations (the Foundation) and leading enterprises of Chengdu's Jinjiang District (Sichuan Province). A report was presented by the Chief Executive Director of the Foundation, Dr. Sergey Avanesov. The meeting was also attended by the Foundation's General Representative in China, Mr. Ivan Qu, representatives of the Foundation's base company - "Armenia China (Sichuan) Business Services Co., Ltd", as well as the Foundation and company manager, Ms. Zhao Heng.
The meeting was attended by leading city enterprises in the field of traditional Chinese medicine (universities, clinics, pharmaceutical manufacturers), as well as representatives from the construction sector and manufacturers of modular parking systems.
In his presentation, Dr. Sergey Avanesov outlined the advantages and prospects of joint cooperation. The report generated considerable interest from the audience, and an active question-and-answer session took place. Foundation representatives exchanged contacts with interested parties and agreed to continue specific negotiations.
The leadership of Chengdu's Jinjiang District expressed gratitude to the Foundation's staff, noting that the activities of the Foundation and its company in China strengthen friendship and promote economic cooperation between China and Armenia. The Foundation carries out concrete and effective work in attracting Chinese investment into Armenia's economy, creating new production facilities on its territory, as well as opening multifunctional Armenian trade houses in China. The administration provided assistance in the establishment and operation of the Foundation's 100% subsidiary, the company "Armenia China (Sichuan) Business Services Co., Ltd" and will support the Foundation's further work in China and intends to make such meetings regular.
At the conclusion of the event, a ceremonial banquet was organized in honor of the Foundation's staff.
