On January 9, 2026, at the initiative of the leadership of the Jinjiang District of Chengdu, a meeting was held between the Foundation for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations (the Foundation) and leading enterprises of Chengdu's Jinjiang District (Sichuan Province). A report was presented by the Chief Executive Director of the Foundation, Dr. Sergey Avanesov. The meeting was also attended by the Foundation's General Representative in China, Mr. Ivan Qu, representatives of the Foundation's base company - "Armenia China (Sichuan) Business Services Co., Ltd", as well as the Foundation and company manager, Ms. Zhao Heng.

The meeting was attended by leading city enterprises in the field of traditional Chinese medicine (universities, clinics, pharmaceutical manufacturers), as well as representatives from the construction sector and manufacturers of modular parking systems.

In his presentation, Dr. Sergey Avanesov outlined the advantages and prospects of joint cooperation. The report generated considerable interest from the audience, and an active question-and-answer session took place. Foundation representatives exchanged contacts with interested parties and agreed to continue specific negotiations.

The leadership of Chengdu's Jinjiang District expressed gratitude to the Foundation's staff, noting that the activities of the Foundation and its company in China strengthen friendship and promote economic cooperation between China and Armenia. The Foundation carries out concrete and effective work in attracting Chinese investment into Armenia's economy, creating new production facilities on its territory, as well as opening multifunctional Armenian trade houses in China. The administration provided assistance in the establishment and operation of the Foundation's 100% subsidiary, the company "Armenia China (Sichuan) Business Services Co., Ltd" and will support the Foundation's further work in China and intends to make such meetings regular.
At the conclusion of the event, a ceremonial banquet was organized in honor of the Foundation's staff.

On March 5, 2025, a meeting was held in Yerevan at the The Yerevan State Theatre and Film Institute (YSTFI) between the Rector of YSITC, Sara Nalbandyan, and the President of the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations (the Fund), Dr. Sergey Avanesov.
During the meeting, the parties actively exchanged views and discussed cooperation in the fields of theatre, cinema, and culture, laying the foundation for the development of cultural exchanges between China and Armenia.
They also discussed strengthening collaboration in film education, with a particular focus on the possibility of Chinese students studying at YSITC. Additionally, they explored the prospect of establishing an educational cooperation center to train teachers and develop young creative talents.
Furthermore, the discussions covered attracting Chinese resources for film production and working together on documentary and feature films aimed at promoting cultural exchange between the two countries. Special emphasis was placed on projects dedicated to historical figures, such as Vardan Mamikonian.
To support the development of Armenia’s cultural industry, the Fund expressed its willingness to actively assist YSTFIin attracting Chinese investments, expanding cooperation opportunities in cinema and theatre, and establishing a platform for interaction with Chinese government institutions, industry organizations, and representatives of culture and the arts.
Additionally, the parties discussed the possibility of creating an Armenian Trade House in Hainan, which would integrate culture with economic cooperation.
Both sides expressed their intention to sign a cooperation agreement in the near future to further implement and promote joint projects.

On February 5, 2025, at 3:00 PM, a meeting was held between Dr. Sergey, Chairman of the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations, and David Arushanyan, the Governor of Shirak Province, Republic of Armenia. The parties held an in-depth discussion on matters of cooperation between Shirak Province of the Republic of Armenia and Hainan Province of China.

Dr. Sergey particularly emphasized that during the "2019 International Winter Fair of Tropical Agricultural Products" held in Haikou, Hainan Province, with the assistance of the Foundation, the government of Shirak Province, Republic of Armenia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Cooperation with the government of Hainan Province. This was an important step in strengthening the economic and friendly relations between the two regions and countries in general. According to the memorandum, the plan is to establish "Trade House" in Haikou and in the Armenian city of Gyumri, which will feature shops, restaurants, traditional Chinese medicine centers, and research and production centers. Furthermore, in accordance with the regulations, official responses and approvals for the establishment of the Trade Houses have been received from Mr. Suren Papikyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Mr. Avet Adonts, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. This opens up broad opportunities for the implementation of the signed MOU.

Dr. Sergey also noted that to further promote cooperation, the company "Hainan Trade Industrial Co., Ltd." was specifically established, which may serve as the basis for the creation of the Trade House in Haikou.

The parties also noted that despite certain challenges in the implementation of the agreement due to the pandemic, war, and other factors, the government of Shirak Province expressed its readiness for close cooperation with the government of Hainan Province to fully implement the "Memorandum of Cooperation and Understanding," with the aim of deepening cooperation in the cultural, economic, and scientific-technical spheres between the two fraternal peoples.The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the PRC will provide full assistance in the implementation of the signed Memorandum.

In conclusion, Dr. Sergey emphasized that to ensure the successful implementation of the MOU, it is proposed to create a working group to prepare the necessary proposals. Currently, preparations are underway for an invitation to the Governor of Shirak Province and a delegation to visit Hainan to further deepen and implement cooperation between the parties.

On March 27, 2024 Head of Office of the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations Tina took part in the Eurasian Forum of National Cultures and Equestrian Traditions "Constellation of the First". The Forum was held in the Presidential Hall of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow with the participation of representatives of 25 regions of the Russian Federation and 18 countries of the world. The event was organized by the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Assembly of Eurasian Nations", the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Association for the Development of Horse Breeding, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Federal State Budgetary Institution "All-Russian Institute of Horse Breeding" and the ANO "Eurasian Center for Equestrian Traditions".

At the forum, representatives of different countries, government agencies, non-governmental and intergovernmental organizations, equestrian industry experts and scientists spoke about international cooperation in horse breeding, emphasizing the important role of the equestrian industry in international exchanges and development. They discussed the need to develop a strategic plan for the development of the equestrian industry to promote the growth of the industry.

Zhang Mu, Deputy Secretary General of the China Horse Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as CHIA), a partner of the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations, also participated Forum via Zoom and in her speech noted the long-standing fruitful relations with the Russian Federation in the scientific sphere.Oksana Vladislavovna Zhavoronkova, Director of the Horse Breeding Development Association( hereinafter referred to as HBDA), spoke about the Festival "Constellation of the First" reflecting the goals set by the President of the Russian Federation in preserving the history, culture, spiritual values, and multi-ethnic harmony of the country. She also shared information about the ANO "Eurasian Center for Equestrian Traditions," created to strengthen friendly dialogue between regions and states based on the heritage associated with horses, the development of interethnic and international cultural exchanges.

Previously, Dr. Sergey Avanesov, President of the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations, met with the leadership of CHIA in Beijing (https://chinaarmenia.am/en/news/view/125/) and contributed to the establishment of working contacts between the HBDA, a partner of the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations (https://chinaarmenia.am/en/news/view/139/) and CHIA .

Currently, the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations, together with the HBDA and CHIA , is preparing a program to attract funding for joint programs with the HBDA and CHIA.

On March 22, 2024 in Moscow and Chengdu an Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) and Horse Breeding Development Association (hereinafter referred to as the HBDA).

O.V. Zhavoronkova (Director of HBDA, signatory) and V.V. Lishchuk (Chairman of the Board of Directors of the HBDA) participated in the signing of the Agreement in Moscow. Lishchuk signed the agreement on behalf of Mr. Sergey Avanesov, President of the Fund.
The parties outlined a large program of joint cooperation. The Fund will represent the HBDA in China, including in relations with the China Horse Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as CHIA).

With the assistance of the Fund and the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Russian Embassy in China, partnership relations have been established between HBDA and CHIA.
In addition, the Fund has established close cooperation with CHIA and plans to sign a cooperation agreement.
The Fund will promote cooperation between the China and Horse Breeding Development Association, as well as cooperation between the China Horse Industry Association and Russia to jointly promote horse breeding and cultural exchanges.

A working meeting was held between a member of the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the seventh convocation on agrarian and food policy and environmental management, a representative from the legislative body of state power of the Primorsky Territory in the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the famous Russian politician Lyudmila Talabayeva with a member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation,General Representative of the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations in the Russian Federation (President of the Fund is Dr. Sergey Avanesov), Chairman of the Board of Directors of company "Beijing Daxing Trade Information Consulting Co Ltd" Vladimir Lishchuk and Deputy President of the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations for work with the countries of the Union of Independent States (CIS) Huaijian Miao.

In the course of the business conversation there was a frank discussion about the urgent needs of the Far Eastern Federal District, about the tasks set before the regions during his recent visit by Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, about the problems that require special attention and prompt solution. The issue of increasing the sowing areas for the soybean crop in Primorsky Krai and investments in agriculture will soon be considered by the working group with the participation of Chinese partners and in close cooperation with the heads of the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations.

Vladimir Lishchuk invited the businessmen of the Far East to take part in the work of the Langfa Global Science and Technology Innovation Center, located in the north of the city of Daxing in Beijing, where all conditions have been created for joint productive and promising work of Russian and Chinese partners. In conclusion, the parties expressed confidence that the solution of the issues raised will help to make another step forward in improving the quality of life of the residents of the Primorsky Krai of the Russian Federation and citizens of the People's Republic of China.

On March 25, 2026, in Yerevan, at the building of the Union of Artists of Armenia, a meeting was held along with the ceremonial signing of a “Strategic Partnership Agreement (MoU) between the Foundation for Regional Development of China–Armenia Relations (www.chinaarmenia.am) and the Union of Artists of Armenia (http://auarmenia.com).”
From the Foundation, the agreement was signed by its President, Dr. Sergey Avanesov, and from the Union, by its Chairman, Suren Safaryan.

The cooperation is aimed at developing cultural and creative projects, as well as attracting investments for the development of the Union.
It was also noted that both parties will jointly participate in promoting and highlighting the activities of the distinguished son of the Armenian and Chinese peoples, Vardan Mamikonyan.
The parties agreed to establish working groups to implement the planned joint initiatives.
The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, with members of the Union’s board and leading staff of the Foundation also in attendance.

The Fund and “TSAYG” are connected by long-standing friendly and productive working relations aimed at strengthening and developing China–Armenia cooperation. The company “TSAYG” organized screenings of documentary films about China’s culture, economy, and nature provided by the Fund, and covered events related to the Fund’s activities in China.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of information support for Armenia–China projects, the production of documentary and analytical content, as well as the promotion of investment initiatives. A cooperation program for 2026 was defined.
A separate priority area of cooperation is the development of a historical and cultural project related to Vardan Mamikonyan and his interpretation in Armenian–Chinese history (Machao / Ma Chao). In collaboration with Chinese partners, a series of documentary films dedicated to the life of Vardan Mamikonyan will be produced. A journal dedicated to Vardan Mamikonyan, published under the auspices of the Fund, will also be promoted. The first issue of the journal is scheduled for release by the end of March 2026.

The parties consider this project to be strategic, strengthening friendship between the peoples of Armenia and China.
Additionally, through the broadcast and digital platforms of the “TSAYG” television company, the following will be carried out:

• screening of documentary films about China’s culture, nature, and economy;
• creation of thematic series about regions of the PRC;
• production of a documentary series about Hainan Province within the framework of the “Hainan – Shirak” initiative.

The “TSAYG” television company is recognized by the parties as the official strategic media partner of the “China–Armenia Regional Development Fund.”

The meeting became an important step in strengthening informational and humanitarian cooperation between the Armenian and Chinese sides.

Following the negotiations, the parties signed a “Memorandum of Cooperation” and agreed on strategic media collaboration, under which the “TSAYG” television company will provide systematic coverage of the Fund’s activities, its projects, and international initiatives, as well as participate in the creation of documentary and presentation materials.

On February 10, 2026, in the city of Yerevan, a working meeting took place between the President of the China–Armenia Regional Development Fund (the Fund), Dr. Sergey Avanesov, and the President of the Armenian Association of Specialists in Traditional and Alternative Medicine, Dr. Mkrtich Avagyan (the Association). The meeting was also attended remotely by the Director of the Center for Rehabilitation, Preventive and Traditional Medicine “Altmed,” Dr. Vagan Avagyan.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to establish a strategic partnership and direct cooperation for the successful creation and operation of a “Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Center” in Yerevan, as well as for the development of educational programs and medical tourism.

Following the negotiations and the agreements reached, the parties signed a “Memorandum of Understanding and Strategic Cooperation on the Establishment of a Traditional Chinese Medicine Center in Yerevan.”

The Fund Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Zhongyu Chuangxin Company
On January 27, 2026, the Fund and the industrial company “Zhongyu Chuangxin” signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the Business and Innovation Center for China-Europe Cooperation in Chengdu. Guided by the principles of mutual benefit, complementary advantages, and joint development, the parties established long-term and stable partnership relations in areas such as promoting bilateral economic and trade activities, jointly creating exhibition and trade platforms, coordinating the agro-industrial sector, fostering exchanges between sister cities, and cooperation in the field of smart cities.
The China–Armenia Regional Development Fund aims to promote economic, trade, and humanitarian activities between China and Armenia, acting as a bridge for international cooperation and a platform for resource coordination. The industrial company “Zhongyu Chuangxin,” relying on its global exhibition and trade base in Chengdu, possesses strong capabilities in industrial management, project implementation, and the integration of global resources.

Within the framework of the agreement, the parties will establish a permanent platform for international economic and trade exchange, provide services for the presentation, coordination, and promotion of high-quality Armenian products and enterprises in the Chinese market, and jointly conduct economic and trade negotiations, product presentations, and cultural exchange activities. The parties will also jointly promote the establishment of partnerships between sister cities of the two countries and advance the implementation of projects such as exhibition centers, trade complexes, and other facilities. Comprehensive cooperation in the field of smart parking will be organized to support the development of smart cities and improve management efficiency in Armenia. The parties will strengthen political interaction, information exchange, and resource coordination, actively seek support from bilateral policies, and improve conditions for cross-border trade and investment cooperation.

This cooperation represents a practical step toward implementing the agreements on strategic partnership between China and Armenia. It will contribute to the complementarity of competitive resources and coordinated industrial development of the two countries, providing new momentum for deepening bilateral economic and trade cooperation and for the sustainable development of the regional economy.

On April 26, a meeting was held at the Foundation’s headquarters in Chengdu between representatives of the Foundation, led by Sergey Avanesov, and a delegation from the administration of Sichuan Province.

The delegation included Mr. Wen — Director of the Office of the Coordination Council for Strengthening Ties among Social Organizations under the Department of Culture and Tourism of Sichuan Province, and President of the Hanhe Academy of Calligraphy and Painting of Sichuan; and Ms. Zhu — General Director of LanShi Media.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation, including projects related to Vardan Mamikonian. The delegation was presented with a journal dedicated to this historical figure.
Special attention was given to the program for establishing a Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Armenia.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint work to implement the agreements reached.

On April 18, 2026, a delegation of the Fund, consisting of Chairman Dr. Sergey and two other members, visited the Institute of Armenian Studies at Shandong Aviation University.

As part of the visit, the delegation donated the academic journal “Mamikonyan” and museum exhibits to the university’s Armenian Cultural Center, and also held talks with Professor Qi Peicheng.

On April 17, 2026, the FUND and the intelligent parking equipment manufacturer “Dongxin Weisheng” held a meeting, during which the parties discussed in detail issues of cooperation in the field of intelligent parking equipment.

On April 14, 2026, the FUND and the Sichuan Provincial Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine held a meeting where they discussed cooperation on jointly establishing a Traditional Chinese Medicine center, as well as the export of Chinese medicine and dietary supplements.

On April 13, 2026, the FUND and “ZhongYu ChuangXin Industrial Co., Ltd.” held a meeting and a ceremony for signing a strategic cooperation agreement in Chengdu.

On April 8, 2026, in Yerevan, a Memorandum of Understanding and strategic cooperation was signed between the China-Armenia Regional Development Foundation and the International University “Eurasia.” The document is aimed at developing partnership in the fields of education, culture, and traditional Chinese medicine.
The parties agreed to launch joint educational programs, academic exchanges, and research projects. Particular attention was given to the introduction and development of traditional Chinese medicine in Armenia, including the training of specialists and the creation of relevant infrastructure.

The agreement also provides the organization of conferences and the development of cultural dialogue between the countries.
It is expected that the agreement will contribute to strengthening Armenian-Chinese relations and expanding cooperation in key areas.

On April 28, Dr. Sergey Avanesov, Chairman of the Foundation for Regional Development of China-Armenia Relations, held a working meeting with Mr. Chen Lei, Deputy Director of the Eurasian Department of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The parties held a thorough exchange of views on strengthening friendship between China and Armenia, studying historical and cultural origins, promoting academic achievements, and developing charitable cooperation. As a result of the meeting, positive agreements were reached, giving new momentum to humanitarian exchanges and cooperation between the peoples of the two countries.

During the meeting, Dr. Sergey presented the key mission and main areas of activity of the Foundation for Regional Development of China-Armenia Relations. Since its establishment, the Foundation has consistently sought to promote practical cooperation between China and Armenia in the fields of economy, trade, culture, education, healthcare, and other areas. The Foundation also actively promotes historical research, the history of relations, and the study and popularization of materials related to the Mamikonians. The Foundation has also financed and prepared for publication the international scientific and historical journal Vardan Mamikonian, creating a professional platform for presenting the historical and cultural roots of the two countries and for academic exchange, thereby contributing to the mutual enrichment of civilizations and bringing the two peoples closer together.
Deputy Director Mr. Chen warmly welcomed the visit of Dr. Sergey and his delegation, highly appreciating the Foundation’s many years of efforts to actively promote bilateral humanitarian exchanges. He especially emphasized the significance of establishing the international scientific journal Vardan Mamikonian, noting that the journal is based on advanced academic research and focuses on the study of historical and cultural ties between China and Armenia. According to him, the publication provides an important platform for exchange between the academic communities of the two countries and plays a positive role in deepening historical mutual understanding and strengthening the cultural identity of the two peoples.
The parties held an in-depth exchange of views on issues related to the Mamikonians and reached a shared understanding that, as academic research continues to deepen, the relevant historical facts are receiving increasingly consistent confirmation at the scholarly level. This creates a solid foundation for the idea of the commonality of China and Armenia and the spiritual closeness of their peoples, while also holding important cultural value and practical significance.
Mr. Chen Lei stated that, on the basis of further strengthening academic achievements on the topic of the Mamikonians, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries is ready to continue supporting the advancement of this project in the public and charitable sphere, helping academic results move beyond the academic environment, benefit society, and contribute to the broad dissemination of the cultural stories of the two countries. The Friendship Association will continue to monitor the development of the project, actively provide resource support, and sincerely invites Dr. Sergey Avanesov to participate in various friendly exchange events organized by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The parties intend to jointly build a mechanism for regular dialogue, deepen cooperation between China and Armenia in the fields of culture, education, charity, and other areas, consistently strengthen the people-to-people foundation of friendship between the two countries, and promote the further sustainable development of bilateral friendly relations.

Meeting with CICC: Continuing Cooperation on the Vardan Mamikonian Project
A working meeting was held with the China Intercontinental Communication Center (CICC), a Chinese state media organization specializing in international communications and content production.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the further development of the project dedicated to Vardan Mamikonian and agreed to continue their joint work.
It was noted that this cooperation is a continuation of the partnership initiated in August 2023, when a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed.

2023: The conference, co-sponsored by the Beijing Bureau of Radio and Television and the Management Committee of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, provides a unique platform for the Belt and Road cooperation between China and Armenia.

China Intercontinental Communication Center, the Fund for Regional Development of Chinese-Armenian Relations officially signed a letter of intent for cooperation.

The letter of intent mentions that the two sides will actively promote cooperation and jointly explore effective ways and strategies for the exchange of film and television content. It will not only jointly broadcast the "Belt and Road" theme and Chinese cultural programs on Armenian local media, but also cooperate in film co-production, themed exchange activities, and new media exchanges and cooperation. The two sides look forward to promoting people-to-people exchanges and cooperation through this cooperation platform, deepening the friendly relations between the two countries and promoting the common prosperity of the China-Armenia region.

On April 27, the Chairman of the Regional Development Foundation for China-Armenia Relations, Dr. Sergey Avanesov, headed a delegation with Chinese representatives of the Foundation to Beijing, where he held a meeting with Mr. Meng Liang, Chairman of the world-renowned Mencius Charity Foundation (http://www.themenciusfoundation.org). The parties held in-depth negotiations on preserving cultural heritage, mutual enrichment of civilizations, and international cooperation in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. The parties officially signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation, opening a new chapter of practical cooperation between China and Armenia in the areas of culture, education, and healthcare.

During the meeting, Dr. Sergey gave Chairman Mr. Meng a detailed presentation of the international academic journal “Vardan Mamikonyan”, initiated and organized by the Foundation. The journal is dedicated to the history of the Armenian people, historical research, and the study of the origins of relations between China and Armenia. Its goal is to create a platform for academic exchange between the two countries and deepen mutual understanding of history and culture. The Program for the establishment of a Traditional Chinese Medicine Center in Armenia was also presented. Mr. Meng highly praised the work carried out and expressed his desire to participate in the Foundation’s programs related to Vardan Mamikonyan, education, and traditional Chinese medicine. A decision was made to popularize the great ancestor Mencius in Armenia (creation of a museum and library).

The Mencius Charity Foundation is a Chinese public organization of the highest international level, founded by Mr. Meng Liang, the senior 79th-generation descendant of Mencius. The Foundation has long been engaged in promoting the Confucian ideas of Mencius, which are widely known throughout the world; it develops international exchange formats such as the Eastern Civilization Forum and high-level dialogues, and has achieved significant results in disseminating the culture of traditional Chinese medicine.

The Regional Development Foundation for China-Armenia Relations consistently develops bilateral cooperation, promoting key projects, including research into historical facts related to the Mamikonians and the establishment of a Traditional Chinese Medicine Center in Armenia. The Foundation serves as an important public bridge for friendly cooperation between the two countries. This was noted by Mr. Meng Liang during the meeting.

According to the signed Memorandum, the parties reached a number of key agreements: to jointly promote research and popularization of the “Mamikonyan” project; to establish a Mencius Institute and a thematic Mencius Museum; to jointly create a standardized Traditional Chinese Medicine Center on the basis of a special traditional Chinese medicine fund; and to jointly hold dialogues involving specialized companies from around the world, academic seminars, and other events that bring the peoples closer together.

This meeting and the signing of the memorandum became an important milestone in the development of friendly public cooperation between China and Armenia. The parties intend to jointly promote practical cooperation, support the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and strengthen exchanges and mutual enrichment between the countries.

On April 21, the Chairman of the Fund, together with a delegation, visited Sichuan University of Media and Communications. During the visit, the delegation toured the Innovation and Application Laboratory of Virtual Reality and Audiovisual Technologies of the National Radio and Television Administration of China, as well as the China (Chengdu) Ultra-High-Definition Innovation and Application Base. The university’s Vice President and Director of the Laboratory, Professor Wang Jiafu, along with representatives of relevant departments, warmly welcomed the guests.

Dr. Sergey Avanesov and his colleagues personally ознакомились with the laboratory’s advanced audiovisual technologies, including green screen filming and real-time compositing, and took part in an interactive session with a panda as a symbol of Chinese culture. They gained a clear understanding of the university’s innovative achievements and its educational and practical activities in the fields of ultra-high-definition and virtual reality. Vice President Wang Jiafu spoke about the laboratory’s progress in integrating industry, education, and research, as well as in international cultural exchange. The parties held in-depth discussions on digital film production, the promotion of cultural brands in international markets, and the joint training of international specialists. Prospects for cooperation on the Chengdu “Film Silicon Valley” platform were also discussed, aimed at promoting Chinese cultural content in Eurasian countries.

This visit laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between Sichuan University of Media and Communications and international organizations in the field of digital media and international communications, and also opened new avenues for the university’s participation in implementing the national strategy for external cultural exchange.

2026年5月13日，亚美尼亚中国关系区域发展基金会主席谢尔盖·阿瓦涅索夫博士（Dr. Sergey Avanesov）与欧亚国际大学（Eurasian International University，官网：www.eiu.am）领导层在埃里温举行了工作会谈。

会谈在大学校内举行。欧亚国际大学方面出席会议的有：校长苏连·奥哈尼扬（Suren Ohanyan）、主管教学事务的副校长鲁本·马尔科相（Ruben Markosyan）、主管战略发展的副校长埃德加·阿米尔汗扬（Edgar Amirkhanyan），以及 Validus 医疗中心负责人、医生兼欧亚国际大学创始人委员会成员阿尔塔克·奥哈尼扬（Artak Ohanyan）。

会议期间，双方重点讨论了以下议题：

— 在大学及所属学校开设中文课程，并设立独立的“中国角”（Chinese Corner）文化教育平台，命名为“孟子”（Mengzi）；

— 推进线上与线下相结合的教学模式，不仅涵盖教学内容，还包括相关技术基础设施建设，例如在线中文教育平台建设、中国文化角及图书馆的设立；

— 加强与中国高校及教育机构的合作，积极吸引中国和亚美尼亚学生开展交流与学习；

— 推动亚中教育与人文合作项目的发展；

— 在大学设立“中医中心”，并在玛尔加霍维特村（Margahovit）实施基础设施项目，建设集多种康复服务于一体的综合康复中心。

此外，双方还讨论了在计划于中国出版、并由基金会提供资金支持的《瓦尔丹·马米科尼扬》（《瓦尔丹·马米科尼扬》）杂志上刊登欧亚国际大学付费广告的合作事宜。

2026年4月8日，亚美尼亚中国关系区域发展基金会与欧亚国际大学（International University “Eurasia”）在埃里温正式签署了谅解备忘录及战略合作协议。该协议旨在推动双方在教育、文化及中医药领域的合作与发展。

双方一致同意开展联合教育项目、学术交流及科研合作，并重点推进中医药在亚美尼亚的推广与发展，包括专业人才培养以及相关基础设施建设。

协议还规定，双方将共同举办学术会议，并积极推动两国之间的人文交流与文化对话。

双方期待，该协议将进一步深化亚中友好关系，拓展双方在重点领域的务实合作，并为未来长期伙伴关系的发展奠定坚实基础。

On May 10, a meeting took place in Yerevan between the President of the Foundation, Dr. Sergey Avanesov, and the President of the Tourism Federation of Armenia, Mekhak Apresyan.
The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. The parties discussed prospects for future cooperation, including projects related to Vardan Mamikonyan.

Dr. Sergey Avanesov presented the work that had been accomplished, as well as the magazine dedicated to Vardan Mamikonyan, which is currently being prepared for publication.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to begin preparations for a “Strategic Partnership Agreement.”
